My own Yoga Nidra journey started when a friend randomly gave me the book Daring to Rest by Karen Brody and I decided to do the 40 day yoga nidra program outlined in the book. I was blown away by the changes I experienced after practicing for 40 days consecutively. Not only did I feel more rested, calm and centered, I felt powerful, capable and finally, that I was "enough."
Yoga nidra really is my super power-- it is always there for me when I am feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, unfocused, or not grounded.
I LOVE to create new nidra recordings-- weaving in nature visualizations, long pauses, and extra time in the energy/breath body.
My yoga nidra offerings are heavily influenced by my wonderful teachers who I am deeply indebted to: Ally Boothroyd, Tiina Kivinen, Karen Brody, and Nick Atlas. I am also extremely grateful for the writings and teachings of Tracee Stanley, Kamini Desai and Richard Miller.
I love practicing, studying, and learning more about yoga nidra. Recently, I completed Transformational Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher Training and Moon to Moon Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Ally Boothroyd and Tiina Kivinen. I am also a trained Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator (with Karen Brody) and a Level 1 Yoga Nidra Teacher with Nick Atlas of Evolutionary Education.
I received my 200 hour yoga teacher training with the amazing Leigh Mallis of Pranic Soul Yoga.
I am also an American Reflexology Certification Board nationally certified reflexologist and Reiki practitioner. To learn more about my reflexology/energy work, please go to my website www.reflexologybysarah.com.

I was honored to be interviewed by Jamie Butler for her The Ligher Side Show Podcast about my passion for practicing and teaching yoga nidra meditation. It was such a fun discussion.
